The Story Behind Teller

I've always told stories visually — through design, photography, art. An image is never just an image; there's always something living inside it. But writing that story? I've tried, but that's where I've had to pass the baton.

When we started traveling more, I developed a slightly compulsive habit: turning every trip into a photo book. Not just to document, but to tell the story of a place. I love those books. They're like time machines.

That obsession led me to wonder: what if these memories could live inside an actual story — with drama, texture, a real narrative arc? The tools finally existed to make it real, and the first time I saw my own trip transformed into a short story that was genuinely mine, it felt like magic. That moment became Teller.

My niece and nephew loved the children's stories in Teller, and I began to wonder, "What if I could take this one step further? What if I could make reading fun and engaging for kids by making them — or at least cartoon versions of them — a part of the story?" That led me to create Teller Family. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
